A few reminders of lives changed…

Why We Need Your Support:

Incredibly, since 2016 100% of our participants have gained places at drama school or university, including BA courses at Central, Drama Centre, Guildhall, Mountview, East 15, ALRA, ArtsEd, Birmingham School of Acting, and at LAMDA.  Our young people are aspiring actors, who have experienced a range of risk factors including leaving care, homelessness, offending and have been unable to access training or get a step up so we are incredibly proud of this percentage particularly when Drama schools define our young people as “non-traditional” – 92% of young people at Generation Arts say their parents did not attend university, and 86% are from BAME backgrounds.

This work matters!  We are gradually changing the face of theatre and film and transforming the lives of young people.

“When I started this project I wasn’t sure of what the future held and was scared I’d go back to floating, wasting time and potential. Thanks to you at Generation Arts that will no longer be the case. You guys are literally changing lives” Graduate 2013 in final year at ALRA
